月の名前
英語の月の名前は必ず大文字で始めます。

月の名前は略して書くことができます：
January → Jan.
February → Feb.

August → Aug.
September → Sept.
October → Oct.

日付のたずね方
日付をたずねるときは、What’s the date today? を使います。
「今日は何日ですか？」
It’s January 15th.
（1月15日です）
It’s March 3rd.
（3月3日です）
日付を言うときは序数詞を使います：

When（いつ）を使って、日付や曜日をたずねることができます。
「〜はいつですか？」
When is your birthday?
（あなたの誕生日はいつですか？）
→ It’s May 20th.（5月20日です）
When is the party?
（パーティーはいつですか？）
→ It’s on Saturday.（土曜日です）
When is Christmas?
（クリスマスはいつですか？）
→ It’s December 25th.（12月25日です）
What day: 曜日をたずねる
What day is it today? → It’s Monday.
When: 日付や曜日、時期をたずねる（より広い意味）
When is your birthday? → It’s May 20th.
When is the test? → It’s on Friday.

in: 月・年・季節に使う
in January（1月に）
in 2025（2025年に）
in spring（春に）
